Truly breathtaking. NYC-based artist Valerie Hegarty’s artwork often poses as artifacts of art history gone awry. Ravaged paintings, melting canvas, cracked walls, weathered works are all the characteristics of Hegarty’s work, who we became familiar with when the work was exhibited on the High Line and then in Marlborough Gallery in NYC in 2012.
